ABOUT THE ARTIST

Hey there you lovelies, I am Saskia! Owner, Founder and Creative Head of Simply Si

Wedding & Events Design.

After studying fashion design in Florence / Italy; I have worked as a lingerie

designer for 20 years, in several companies across Europe. I always had a strong

attachment to amazing laces, breathtaking embroideries and delicate detailing.

I bave always been inspired by different aspects of design. Whether it is interior

design, art, music, movies, flowers or graphic- and cake design. After learning the art

of making sugar flowers and cake decoration in London (at the Peggy Porschen

academy) I started making wedding cakes in all kinds of flavors, dimensions and for

any kind of diets. What started as a hobby developed quite soon to be an important

part of my work and from those days on I was hooked by all things bridal and wedding.

After the love of my life Ivan, popped the question, we instantly knew that the

journey of planning our own wedding would be a live-changing experience for us.

We were so thrilled and enthusiastic about every little detail, about treasure hunting

for unique and enchanting venues and decorations, we suddenly knew what our true

calling was

Helping to create, style, plan and bringing to life the wedding you have always
